| Reef Diving in Playa del Carmen |
| The coral reef in Playa is the second largest in the world next only to the Great Barrier Reef in Australia. The lovers of underwater sports such as snorkeling and reef diving can expect multifarious encounters with the colorful coral, sponges, tropical fish and other underwater wildlife due to the clear visibility all the year round. The placid blue waters of the ocean are tempting in summer and you can see sea turtles, morays, nurse shark and an abundance of vibrant tropical fish, while the fall in temperature in the winter brings forth a rendezvous with dolphins and sharks.
