Back Roads of the South Shore
This is a collaborative project to preserve and create awareness about the 13 historic sites in 8 towns along the south shore of Massachusetts. You can take a nostalgic walk down the memory lane and explore the historic sites including Old Ordinary in Hingham, Captain John Wilson House in Cohasset, Cudworth House and Mann House in Scituate, Winslow House in Marshfield, King Caesar House, John Alden House and Gershom Bradford House in Duxbury, Major John Bradford House in Kingston and Harlow Old Fort House, Spooner House, Jabez Howland House and Pilgrim Hall in Plymouth. The tour deliberately takes you through the back roads in order to avoid the crowds and to give a glimpse of the peaceful and rural side of the towns.

Dead of the Night Ghost Tour

This is a tour of the oldest cemetery with tombstones, which dates back to the 1600s. This eerie but fun-filled tour is perfect for a spine-tingling adventure The 90 Twilight Lantern Ghost Tour requires you to walk with the lantern through the dark narrow paths of the Haunted, Historic Plymouth. See the places that have active specters of the night. Visit the oldest Cemetery at twilight and learn to capture spirits on film. You’ll be able to see the equipment the “ghost hunters use” and of course the tour would be incomplete without the stories of local legends, folklore or the ghost stories. History can be both fun and entertaining this is something the tour is definitely going to teach you!

    Imagination Island
This is a must visit for a perfect family outing. Explore the 14' high soft-contained climbing equipment, jump on the palm tree moon bounce, or check out the giant dollhouse and trains. The tropical village includes the Coconut Café, Kiwi Market, Island Firehouse, Seahorse Puppet Theater, Starfish Schoolhouse and Tiki's Boutique. Admission is free for adults and children under the age of one. The fun is there at every turn and lasts the entire day.

    Plymouth Pirate Cruises
This one-hour swashbuckling adventurous cruise will take you onto Plymouth. As a pirate passenger, you can set sail for captured treasure, battle an enemy pirate ship and defend your vessel with the help of seafaring mates and mighty water cannons. The brave and truly adventurous buccaneers will roll up their salty sleeves and help haul in a lobster trap. Who knows what you might catch or what surprises lie ahead? Music, song, and dance contests are all part of the fun and festivities of this unique ocean adventure.

    Beach Activities
The beaches of Plymouth are simply great for lazing in the sun or outdoor activities. Most beaches charge a parking fee. There are picnic tables at the Plymouth Long Beach, Scusset Beach, Whitehorse Beach and Duxbury Beach. You can watch the marine birds as they embrace both the sea and the sky. You can also catch a glimpse of Finches, Cardinals, Mockingbirds and Swans live alongside Terns, Great Blue Heron, Snowy Egrets, Loons and Sandpipers. Go harbor cruising or deep-sea fishing and you will be able to see the whales breech and the dolphins swim alongside at the Stellwagon Bank.
