Special Information for Booking Vacation Rentals in Puerto Vallarta |
The nightly and weekly rents for the Puerto Vallarta villas and Puerto Vallarta condos vary according to the seasons. Usually the rates tend to be higher from November to April in comparison to the rest of the year. Most Puerto Vallarta vacation rentals require a minimum of one night stay; however some vacation rentals may even require you to stay a minimum of 3 to 4 nights too. It is advisable to enquire if pets are allowed well in advance. Quite a few vacation rental homes may not even allow smoking as well. A security deposit of $200 to $500 depending upon the accommodation is required. You are also required to pay 30% of the total rent in advance to confirm your reservation and balance amount is to be paid within the 30 days of the arrival except in high season from November through January when you need to deposit full payment between 15 to 45 days before the arrival. | The nearest airport is the Gustavo Díaz Ordaz International Airport (code PVR), located four miles north of downtown (centro). During the peak season more than 450 flights arrive weekly.
