Peterson Rock Garden and Museum is a bizarre and intriguing park featuring miniature bridges, towers, terraces and replicas of historic buildings made from local stones and wood. While you are there don’t forget to check out the stunted Statue of Liberty. The museum is pretty incredible as well where you will find on display a variety of rock specimens and there are picnic sites available on the grounds. The admission fee is $3 for adults, $1.50 for students and $.50 for children (6 to 12 years). From June 1 to September 30, the place is open from 9 AM to 5:30 PM, and from October 31 to May 31 it is open from 9 AM to 4:30 PM.

Aboard the Crooked River Dinner Train, you can enjoy entertainment and a three-hour, four course meal. The train makes a 38-mile round-trip through the craggy rim rock of Crooked River Valley, which is an ideal treat for the whole family. Animated Wild West characters are a part of this 1800's Western Theme Dinner Train, where you will be transported 100 years back in time with the enactment of train robbery and murder sequences as was prevalent in the Wild West. In summer on Fridays and Saturdays the three-hours tour costs adults $79, seniors (65 and over) $75, teens (13-19 years) $55, children (3-12 years) $39 and infants (2 and under) $20.00 with no entry fee. On Sundays the 2 1/2- hours tour costs adults $69, seniors (65 and over) $65, teens (13-19 years) $55, children (3-12 years) $39 and infants (2 and under) $20 without any entry fee.
