For kids, there is Sugar Shak, where the kids can gorge on lip-smacking ice cream cones, shakes, malts, homemade lemonade, cookies, sodas, special candies and even real sugarcane stalks.

A revolving schedule of festivals, art shows and outdoor concerts liven up the nights in Rosemary Beach. Close to Rosemary Beach, in Destin, there is an interesting selection of entertainment places that feature live music bands, the most famous being AJ’s Seafood and Oyster bar, which has live entertainment, dancing and dining. AJ’s has a newly expanded outside deck that features a dance floor and live music.

Flavors of France features an eclectic mix comprising of chic Art Deco furniture, with some traditional ones.  Best Times to Visit Rosemary Beach

The Panhandle region gets the most rain of any place in the state. However, showers and thunderstorms usually pass by quickly and the sun comes out. Tropical winds from the south, along with the Gulf and abundant rain, create hot, humid conditions between May and September. The highs from December to February range from 61° F to 65° F, while the lows hover around 38° F - 40° F. Summers are warm with temperatures ranging from a high of 70° F to 89° F and a low of 41° F - 70° F. Although it rains almost throughout the year at Rosemary Beach, it rains the most from June to September, with almost 8-9 inches of rain.

Northwest Florida Panhandle, especially the Emerald Coast, enjoys warm temperatures the year round. It is hot and humid from May to September. The rest of the year is much more comfortable, with mild days and cool nights, less humidity and less rain. The official hurricane season is August to October, but Florida rarely gets any of them. All in all, the best time to visit is probably September to December—the crowds are gone, the water is still warm and vacation rental properties discounts abound.

The closest airports in Rosemary Beach area are Eglin Af Aux Nr 3 Duke Airport located about 38 miles northwest of Rosemary Beach in Valparaiso, Florida. Then there are Hurlburt Field Airport located approximately 40 miles northeast of Rosemary Beach in Mary Esther, and Bob Sikes Airport located roughly 45 miles northwest of Rosemary Beach in Valparaiso.

Emerald Coast is easily reached from Interstate 10, the area's main east-west route. The major north-south routes are Interstates 85 and 65. Rosemary Beach is located at the eastern end of County Road 30A in Walton County, 1/4 mile west of the junction of Highway 98 and County Road 30A.For those traveling on Interstate-10, exit at County Road 331 and follow the signs south to Highway 98. Turn left on Highway 98, continue approximately 10 miles to Inlet Beach and turn right on County Road 30A.

You can travel on foot or on a bicycle to almost any street within the neighborhood. A car is necessary to reach nearby areas to see the attractions, play golf, shop at the supermarkets and dine in restaurants.
