Getting To and Around Santa Barbara |
Santa Barbara Municipal Airport is located about 7 miles west of Santa Barbara. There is an active shuttle and taxi services at the airport. Santa Barbara Amtrak station is located in central Santa Barbara, only a few blocks from the beaches and promenades to the south.
The city can be easily accessed off Highway 1. The public transport system in Santa Barbara is very well developed. The bus system has a special bike and ride program for bicyclists. You can pay per ride, for a 10-ride pass, or purchase a month-long pass. Auto and bicycle rentals are also readily available throughout the city.
