| Ringling Renaissance Festival |
| February brings the annual Ringling Renaissance Festival. Tickets are $14.95 for adults, $6.95 for children 5-12 and $12.95 for students and senior citizens. The event is held at the Sarasota Fairgrounds. It is open from 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM, rain or shine. Free parking is available. |

| Sarasota Music Festival |
| The Sarasota Music Festival, held annually in May and June for more than 40 years, offers music lovers 6 days of concerts and an array of educational opportunities for musicians. Everyone, performing artists and the audience, will enjoy the many performances in Holley Hall, at the Beatrice Friedman Symphony Center, and the wonderful Sarasota Opera House. A 3-week pass is $75, a 1-week pass is $30, a 1-day pass is $10 and a 1-class pass is $5. |

| The Sarasota Jazz Festival, held in April, is jazz music at its best. Headliners have included greats like Chick Corea. The 8-day festival presents free and ticketed events, including indoor and outdoor concerts, movies with guest lecturers, regional performers and international stars. |

| A Taste of Sarasota Family Festival |
| The annual ‘A Taste of Sarasota Family Festival’ is held on Main Street in downtown Sarasota. The festival features food from the city’s most popular restaurants, live music, an artisan alley, local attractions, a children’s area and much more. Food and drink tickets are $1 each, which you will then use to purchase items ranging in price from $2 to $6 each. Purchase your food and drink tickets as soon as you arrive. 50% of the food ticket proceeds are donated to local non-profit organizations. |
