| The Scottsdale Arts Festival |
| One of the premiere arts festivals in the United States, the Scottsdale Arts Festival is held every March during the height of Scottsdale's tourist season. The Festival draws 40,000 visitors in a single three-day weekend. Proceeds from the festival help support the Scottsdale Center for the Performing Arts' public outreach programs. The festival is known for its fine arts and crafts, as well as its presentations, performances and demonstrations. Held in the gardens of the 8-acre Scottsdale Civic Center Mall in downtown Scottsdale, the festival is a fabulous way to spend a spring afternoon. Free parking is available and admission is $7 for adults. Children under 12 are admitted free. |

| Celebration of Fine Art |
| The Celebration of Fine Art is a unique annual art event where you can watch art develop---it's like visiting 100 artists' studios in less than a day. Over 100-juried artists set up working studios to create art in all styles and mediums. Open from mid-January through the end of March, every day, from 10 AM to 6 PM. |

| Las Noches del las Luminarias |
| ILas Noches del las Luminarias is a unique Southwest holiday tradition and one of the most popular special events hosted by the Desert Botanical Garden. For 22 nights form late November until just before Christmas, small candles set in sand-filled paper bags illuminate the Garden trails. You can stroll the pathways while sipping wine or hot cider and listening to one of the special holiday musical performances. |

| ArtsFestT of Scottsdale |
| Held in mid-November, the ArtsFest™ of Scottsdale is a 2-day weekend event. Open from 10 AM to 5 PM both days at the Scottsdale Civic Center Plaza, the event features 200 artists, musicians, food and more. Parking is free, as is admission. |

| The Festival of the WestŪ |
| The Festival of the West® is an annual 4-day event held in March. The festival features a western music jamboree, a western trade show, a log home show, a western film festival, cowboy poetry and more. General admission is $12 for adults, $11 for seniors and $4 for children. A 4-day pass is $40. Special pricing is available on Thursday, when seniors can enter for $6, and on Friday, when children 12 and under get free admission. Gates open daily at 10 AM. |

| The Barrett-Jackson Collector Car Auction |
| Car enthusiasts can plan their trip to coincide with The Barrett-Jackson Collector Car Auction, usually held in January. Running in its 35th year, the auction is referred to as the "World's Greatest Collector Car Auction" and is the event to buy and sell the finest quality automobiles. |
