| Junior Museum of Bay County |
| Junior Museum of Bay County, in Panama City, is a popular destination with those vacationing in Seacrest Beach. The museum, an excellent visit for kids of all ages, has indoor science and adventure exhibits, a nature walk and a replica of a native homestead outdoors. Events like the Spring Heritage Festival, Haunted Trail and Pumpkin Patch, Powder Puff Parties among others, are popular with kids. The museum is open from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 4:30 PM and on Saturday from 10 AM to 4 PM. |

| Deer Lake Park |
| Among the newest parks of the region, the Deer Lake State Park offers acres of unspoiled vegetation and a rare coastal dune lake. The Park is home to rare plants, migratory birds and has easy access to the beach as well, where one can swim, fish or picnic. The park is located on CR 30A in Santa Rosa Beach and is open from 8 AM until sundown, throughout the year. There are no admission fees. Pets are not allowed on the beach area in this park. |

| Grayton Beach State Park |
This park too offers some breathtaking locales for hikers and beach lovers alike. You can enjoy swimming, sunbathing, surf fishing, paddle a canoe, or kayak in the state park that has been consistently ranked as among the top in the United States. Hikers and bikers can rough it out over 4 miles of trails through pine flatwoods in the park. The park has an amphitheater too.
The park is open from 8 AM till sundown. Admission fee of $4 is charged per vehicle, while for pedestrians, bicyclists, extra passengers and for passengers in vehicles that have an Annual Individual Entrance Permit, an admission fee of $1 is charged. Pets are not allowed in the beach and cabin areas but are allowed in the camping area, nature trail, and picnic areas. |

Water and Amusements parks, such as Water World, Waterville, Cobra Adventure Park and Sam’s Fun City too are popular. Zoos and aquariums, including Zooworld and Gulf World Marine Park are a favorite with tourists.
Live animal shows and fascinating exhibits make Gulf World Marine Park popular with kids and adults alike. Special programs include Swim with a Dolphin, Trainer for a Day, Splash Magic Laser Show, and Snooze with the Sea Life. Tickets cost $21 for adults, while that for children (from 5 to 11 years) is priced at $14.50. Taxes are extra and entry is free for children (below 4 years of age.) |
