The Annual Easter Egg Hunt & Children's Book Fair, held in April, is fun family entertainment. Each child receives an Easter bunny. Also available are storytellers, Easter eggs stuffed with prizes, face painting, rides on the trolley and the chance to test the abilities of the local ambulance and fire trucks.
Siesta Fiesta
The Siesta Fiesta is held on a Saturday and Sunday at the end of April. As a combination art and craft show, Siesta Fiesta is sure to have items to fit your budget. Beach Road will be lined with fine art, including sculptures, photography, handcrafted jewelry, pottery, ceramics, paintings and more. The area along Ocean Boulevard will feature homemade spa products, beaded jewelry, woodwork, unique pet products and green market items.
Annual Sand Sculpting Contest
Siesta Key hosts an annual Sand Sculpting Contest in early May. Entry is free. The contest is held at Siesta Beach, south of the pavilion. Registration begins at 8:30 AM and judging begins at 1 PM. Judging includes 4 categories: Adult Humorous, Adult Miscellaneous, Children 10 and younger and Youth 11-18.
Paul Ralston Memorial Golf Tournament
The annual Paul Ralston Memorial Golf Tournament takes place in mid-June at the Tournament Players Club at Prestancia. Registration for the tournament begins at 11:30 AM; with a shotgun start at 1:00 PM. Entry fees are $125 per person, or $500 for a 4-person group.
4th of July Fireworks
Siesta Key Chamber 4th of July Fireworks is held annually at Siesta Beach. The event includes fireworks set to music. The event begins at 9 PM. VIP seating is available for $150, which includes VIP Parking, 2 passes for VIP seating and a pre-fireworks dinner on the beach.
Holiday Light Up the Village
The annual Holiday Light Up the Village is held Siesta Key Village at the end of November to kick of the holiday season.
