| The 43-miles of wonderful beaches in and around St. Augustine are great for walking on. The protected natural areas at the three state parks nearby also offer several interesting trails for the walker and hiker. Miles of cycle trails along the beaches and park areas make bicycling one of the nicest ways to experience this area. |

| Simply dotted with marinas, you can see a number of places here by boat, over sea, river or the Intra-coastal Waterway. Charter craft of different types are available. Organized cruises are also a good option if you truly want to sit back and enjoy the beauty of this area. Trolley rides also take you to the attractions in and around St. Augustine. Trolley and horse-drawn carriages are a great way to see the historic sights of the town. |

Go deep-sea fishing on one of the several charter boats available here. Use one of the public boat launches to launch your boat if you have a private one. You will find boat launches at Vilano Beach, at Anastasia Island at the Light House Park and one south of St.. Augustine Beach before Crescent Beach.
Wade fishing is also great in this area, with several locations including, Salt Run, Matanzas Inlet, St. Augustine Inlet, the 206-bridge area, and the flooded grass flats, off the Intra-coastal Waterway. Pier, surf and fly-fishing are also popular in St. Augustine. |
