St. Petersburg Festival of States comes in the first fortnight of April. It is a celebration with parades, concerts, fireworks, automobile and art exhibits. It has a lot of events and entertainment.

Tampa Bay AirFest at St. Petersburg attracts several vacationers. The highlights of the festival are aerobatic performances and military and classic aircraft displays. The Pier has plenty of shopping options in its new five-storey inverted pyramid structure. The plaza is a Mediterranean Revival theme complex. Restaurants abound as well so you can eat while you shop.

June through September are the wettest months here. The highest temperatures range from between 85° F to 90° F and the lowest temperatures are between 54° F to 56° F.
