| Sunken Gardens house an exotic collection of tropical plants and flowers including 200 species that bloom all round the year. There’s a walkthrough aviary of tropical birds and a glorious orchid collection in Orchid Arbor. Sunken Gardens is open Wednesday through Sunday 10 AM to 4 PM. |

This amusement park is a wonderful, variety-filled experience for the entire family - be it the record-breaking roller coaster ride, cool wave swims, animal encounters, exotic flowers or the great shows. There’s also Native American history experience laid out in an Indian village. Monorail, cable car or a train take you around. The facility offers discounts and add-ons on seasonal passes or group entry. |

| Caladesi Island State Park |
| Caladesi Island State Park, around 18 miles from St. Petersburg, has several activities lined up for its visitors. It has a beautiful 3-mile nature trail and while here, you can also partake of other activities such as boating, canoeing, kayaking, fishing, swimming and wildlife viewing. The park is open from 8 AM until sundown. Admission fees are priced $4 for up to 8 people per private boat. You should call two weeks in advance to reserve a pavilion.

| Skyway Fishing Pier State Park |
| Fishing spots abound at several places in St. Petersburg and there is ample amount of sea trout, snook, grouper or redfish to delight the angler. You could just sightsee or actually go fishing on the world’s longest fishing pier (three quarter mile on the north and one and a half miles on the south of Tampa Bay). Open 24 hours a day and throughout the year, the pier is also the best place to view a sunset or sunrise. If you are in a vehicle, parking is available a few feet from the pier. A fee of $3 is charged per car (24 hours). The fee is $10 for RV or camper. $2 is charged as admission tickets for adults while for senior citizens and children (aged 6 to 12 years,) it is priced at $1.5. |

| Museum of Fine Arts |
| Museum of Fine Arts is a presentation of fine world art in an elegant surrounding by its founder Margaret Acheson Stuart. The Museum is open from Tuesday to Saturday from 10 AM to 5 PM and on Sundays from 1 PM to 5 PM on Sunday and is closed on Monday. It is a completely physical-handicap friendly center, though you may have to reach early to get a wheel chair. There are ticket concessions for seniors and college students. Children below 6 enter free. |

| Salvador Dali Museum |
Salvador Dali Museum is dedicated to the collection and preservation of works of the surrealist artist, Salvador Dali. It has continuously updated education and appreciation programs for the public and scholars. There are also plenty of exhibitions and presentations in cooperation with other institutes of similar nature. In July and August, Fridays have special admission for special Surreal Friday activities like live music and happy hour.
The museum is open from Monday through Saturday from 9:30 AM to 5:30 PM, with extended hours on Thursday and Friday until 8 PM. There are ticket concessions for seniors, military and police, while children (below age 4) enter free. |

| This museum chronicles the history of St. Petersburg in a permanent interactive exhibition. There’s also a replica of the first commercial airliner to fly from St. Petersburg to Tampa in 1914. The museum is open from Monday to Saturday 10 AM to 5 PM and Sunday 1 PM to 5 PM. Ticket concessions are available for senior citizens. Group rates and tours are also available. |
