| The picturesque Steamboat Lake State Park with its majestic green valleys, colorful wildflowers is a haven for recreational opportunities. You can appreciate the breathtakingly beautiful surrounding panoramic vistas. Situated at the base of Hahn’s Peak in northern Colorado, the park is a popular site for camping, premiere fishing and boating in summers. Come winters and the park is well prepared with its amazing 60-miles of trails perfect for cross-country skiing, ice fishing and snowmobiling. |

| Tread of Pioneers Museum |
| The museum features Queen Anne-style Victorian home with the traditional 1908 furnishings. On display is an interesting collection of exhibits of various mining and ranching artifacts from the Routt region. Also, on display are the exhibits that provide an insight into the history of skiing, firearms collection, the rodeo and Native Americans. The museum also includes a research library, historic collection of photos and a gift store. Located at Oak in downtown Steamboat Springs, the museum is open from Tuesday to Saturday between 11am to 5pm. The admission fee is $5 for adults and $4 for seniors above the age of 50. For children under the age of 12, the fee is $1. |

| Established in 1972, the Steamboat Springs Arts Council is a community-based nonprofit organization dedicated to art and cultural programming. Housed in the historic train Depot along the Yampa River at the west end of town, the council has two galleries the Depot Gallery and the Small Works Gallery, and a community arts & culture Resource Center. The galleries host an interesting collection of exhibits each year, including themed, juried, curated and private shows. |

| Find yourself solving one of the most complicated puzzles ever in the challenging Amaze'n Steamboat Maze, which is a labyrinth of twists and turns and challenges you to test your skills. See if you can find the way out of this puzzling maze as at every turn you find a obstacle in the guise of a dead end. There’s even a free observation deck that gives a bird’s eye view of the maze. The cost of the admission fee to the maze is $6 for adults, $5 for children between the age 5 and 12. |
