MAN O WAR CAY VACATION COTTAGE RENTAL DESCRIPTION A classic 2 bedroom, two bathroom, Bahamian winter home and guest house set on two private wooded acres with ocean front on one side and the harbor on the other. The home also has a large covered porch with views overlooking the harbor along with a crows nest that's wonderful to watch Bahamian sunsets.
A classic Bahamian winter home and guest house set on two private wooded acres with ocean front on one side and the harbor on the other. Private deep water dock (3.5 Ft. at mean low tide) and beach harbor-side. SeaScape is a traditional Man O War cottage that was built by Emerson Albury for my parents in 1981 and has been well kept by the Weatherford family ever since. The home is simple with a living area that includes a full kitchen, a dining area for four adults, and a living-room with two built-in couches and several hand-made chairs. A full bath (shower only) sits off the bedroom that is large enough for a king-size bed (or two singles). The home also has a large covered porch with views overlooking the harbor along with a crows nest that's wonderful to watch Bahamian sunsets.
SeaScape rests about 50 feet from the harbor and the private dock. Just down the Queen's Highway from the dock is a small private beach on the harbor we call Alice's Beach, after our neighbor's now three year old daughter who loves to swim and play there along with her 1 year old brother.
The Snuggery Guest House: The Snuggery, our guest house with a full bath features 1 Bedroom with a king size bed, and sleeps 2. The Snuggery sits at the top of the rise and overlooks the morning sunrise from its back porch facing the sea to the east. There's a beautiful view of the reef and the South Man O War channel.
This private 2 acre property is set between the ocean and the harbor giving renters access to both sides of the island. This year, we cleared a view to the west, overlooking the harbor, from a meditation bench that sits in a private shaded clearing.
