PAPHOS VACATION HOME RENTAL DESCRIPTION This LUXURY HOLIDAY HOME 2 Bedrooms Situated on Ikaria Village, on the side of a hill with fantastic Sea views. With 3 Swimming Pools, The location is perfect for a mix of Relaxation and Activity Holiday. Well suited for Sunshine Family Holidays with beaches very close. Honeymooners Haven.
Lounge: Has two very comfortable leather settees. Media Center with storage, TV, ceiling Fan, and heaters for the winter months. Dining Area: Has table and four chairs, lovely storage unit all in Rustic Pine. ceiling fan and breakfast bar to kitchen area. Kitchen: The kitchen has a range of modern units, and ample work surface. Electric cooker and Hob, Washing Machine, Fridge Freezer, Micro Wave, and plenty of storage boxes. Good range of utensils, cooking pots and pans. Iron and board.
Bedrooms: Main room has double bed, bedside cabinets, storage wardrobe. Dressing Table, space for COT. Ceiling Fan, Air Con, Fly Screens. All bed linen provided. The second room has twin beds, OR Bunk beds and one single as requested. Bedside cabinet and chest of drawers. Ceiling Fan, Air Con. Fly Screens. All the beds are brand new this season. One hairdryer.
Swimming Pools: There are 3 swimming pools. A very large one and the two smaller are ideal for toddlers, non-swimmers and toe splashes. The upper Garden: Has room for sun loungers as well as the patio table and chairs. It is very safe for children having railings all round and a lockable gate. The Square: Has swings and plenty of area for children to play. Seats for resting and delightful gardens.
The Sun shines in Cyprus 340 days a year on average. Since 'La Maisin du Soleil' is on two levels SOUTH facing towards the SEA on one level, cooler shade towards the HILLS in the other. Plenty of choice for lazing in the shade or sunbathing.
Walking down hill from Ikaria Village, one soon meets the main 'Tomb of the Kings Road' which leads to Paphos Harbour in one direction and Coral Bay in the other. Going toward Paphos soon brings you into and area with plenty of choice of Restaurants, Bars, Cafe's, Cypriot Tavernas and activities. This takes about 10-15 walking and is ideal for those who want to dine out but not drink and drive. Every type of cuisine can be found. Naturally Greek, but also or example Thai, Chinese, Indian, Polinesien, Italian, French and good old Fish and Chips. Bars range from Irish to Cypriot. From those with Kariokee and others which are Sports TV orientated to the more sophisticated and quiet. In other words bars for every taste.
Intermingled but not detracting from it, one can find all the modern essentials for living. Kiosks, shops, hairdressers, banks and the like. There is a good sized well stocked supermarket with it's own coffee shop within, which sells a wide variety of Traditional cakes and pastries. Around a leisurely 10-15 minutes walk from the Maisonette there is a unique 'UK' shop that stock many 'brand' named products of food, as well as toiletries and general goods. Immediately opposite is a Cypriot Express supermarket that sells all things Greek, so the combination of the two gives plenty of choice on the door step. Chlorakas has several Bars, Cafe's and a very popular Creperie. It also has one of the best Fish Bar and Take away' s. Internet Cafe's and the very impressive 'Famagusta Tavern' where local dishes such as Stifado, Lasagne, can be enjoyed.
