"Pelican Point" a beautiful 2 story oceanfront home

Pelican Point is a charming “old Florida” style beach home with all the modern conveniences located oceanfront at Vilano Beach near historic St. Augustine. The house has three decks and a large screened porch as well as high ceilings, antiques, multiple ceiling fans, and beaded board and paneled walls. The house is equipped with wifi high-speed internet, widescreen TVs, a whirlpool bath, a modern kitchen, and air-conditioning. The third floor has two bedrooms, two baths and a sitting room. In the master bedroom, there is a king-size bed overlooking the ocean and a master bath with a sit-down shower and separate whirlpool tub. The bathroom is constructed from Italian travertine (as are all the bathrooms) and equipped with its own deck and ocean views. The guest bedroom has a queen-size bed and bath, and opens onto a separate deck overlooking the ocean. A sitting room adjoins the bedroom and bath, and has a daybed situated underneath windows with ocean views. Because we are the highest home along this stretch of beach, there are unimpaired views in all directions. Interior and exterior stairs connect the third floor with the second. The second floor has a bedroom, one and a half baths, a porch, a large living room and dining area, and a kitchen. You can eat, sleep, or just relax on the screened porch. It has westerly as well as easterly views (so guests can see the sunset and rise!) French doors connect the porch to a large living room with heart pine floors, five ceiling fans, antiques and comfortable old rockers. Additionally, there is an electric fireplace to give the room warmth on blustery days. The kitchen and dining area open onto the living room, thus guests have panoramic ocean views. The kitchen is fully equipped with a pantry, refrigerator, range, toaster, blender, microwave and dishwasher. And the bedroom (equipped with a king-size bed) has a deck with ocean views and its own private bath. There is also a laundry room and half bath on this floor. The first floor is a large studio apartment that faces onto a lovely patio with a porch swing. The studio has a queen size bed and single beds. There is a small kitchenette and a full bathroom on this floor. We welcome friends and families with small children and have available for use: a crib, high chair, children’s table and chairs, a sandbox, and games, books and puzzles for all ages. Pelican Point is 5 miles from historic St. Augustine and 15 miles from several golf courses: Sawgrass, Players Championship, new World Golf Village, etc. In addition, Serenata Beach Club is only a few blocks north of us, and for an additional weekly family rate, renters have the option of using their three pools, jacuzzi and fitness room. Payment Policy: All rates in US dollars.

Cleaning fee is included in rent.There is a refundable $500 security deposit and 9% tax. We accept personal checks or cashiers checks. The $500 security deposit is due as soon as you want to reserve your dates. The full payment is due one month before your arrival. The security deposit is returned within 2 weeks of your departure.

Cancellation Policy: A written cancellation is permitted up to 60 days before the arrival date with a $50 cancellation fee. The $500 deposit is forfeited if booking is canceled for 30-60 days before your arrival. For cancellations within 30 days of your arrival you will be charged the full amount of your rental. Exceptions: If the house is re-rented for some or all nights, refunds for nights re-rented will always be made.

Rules: No smoking. A small dog will be considered with additional $150 fee.
