Well we did go back as mentioned previously and had just a fabulous time. Once again , we enjoyed ourselves to the fullest. The maid service is great and dependable. Heaven is just a booking away !!! lol

We stayed in this condo 2 years ago and had a wonderful time. It really did feel like our home away from home. Everything was so clean and well taken care of. The nearby beach was heaven and so was the shopping and dining out. Also close was Walmart for those who like to cook! The owners are fair and very nice. We are going back in July and can hardly wait!

Vacation Rentals in Playa del Carmen

Once a small fishing town offering passenger ferry service, Playa Del Carmen has grown to be one of the premier tourist destinations for those traveling to Mexico for some fun in the sun. Located on Mexico’s Yucatan peninsula and 40 miles south of Cancun, Playa Del Carmen (also known as Playa), remains the 3rd largest city in Quintana Roo.

With sandy white beaches, great surfing waves and sizzling night life, this town is the perfect vacation spot. Whether you choose to book a hotel or a Playa Del Carmen vacation rental, get ready to feel the breeze and relax. Once you are in vacation mode in Playa, there are a multitude of activities to explore from historical to adventure. The Mayan Ruins is a must see if you are visiting the Yucatan peninsula. Many of the most amazing sites include Chichen Itza, which is one of the Seven Wonders of the World. Other sites include Coba and Tulum. If you are looking for some unique geology, visiting a cenote is worth checking out. In many caves, the roof has collapsed, forming a sinkhole and entrance to the cave. These cenotes are a geologist’s heaven. If looking for some shopping, head downtown and shop at the local boutiques for silver, souvenirs, clothes and handmade arts and crafts. When not exploring, take in the beautiful beach and sun with a good book or magazine. Playa Del Carmen is known for water activities such as snorkeling, diving and sailing. Just south of the beach is Xcaret, an eco-archeological park that is full of underground rivers, dolphin swims, lounging at the beach lagoon, diving, horseback riding, botanical gardens, orchid farm, jaguar island, butterfly pavilion, museums and exploring the coral reef aquarium.

Playa Del Carmen is the perfect vacation spot that is a mixture of relaxing days and exciting nightlife. For some fun in the sun with a history lesson tied in, check out Playa Del Carmen.
